60s and 70s music videos.opinion?

Ok, so many of the greatest rock artists came out with great music in the 60s and 70s. It is no questions that many of the masterpieces were created with help from a few drugs. What I was wondering is why are so many of the images and characters kind of scary? I’ve done 2-3 different types of drugs in my life, so I’m not expert. But if LSD, acid, etc. is as trippy as most make it out to be wouldn’t theses characters and images scare the sh*t out of someone or make them freak out if they were doing them while watching? Example…”The Wall” by Pink Floyd…”No Quarter” by Led Zeppelin…

I look at these as art but you’d have to admit with the music in the background, some of these can be “scary”. Sure I understand this is what they saw while high, but why freak your stoned fans out. Or does it freak them out?

How can I organize all of my sheet music?

As a pianist, I have many books of music, and also many sheets of music. I have been sorting through my sheet music, but don’t know what to do with it. Right now I just have completely unorganized piles and folders of music. I can’t think of what to do with them all. I want to be able to find pieces when I need them without looking through piles and piles. What should I do?

“Rosebud’s” in classical music: film “Citizen Kane”-?: enduring enigmas, compositions or composers?

Just watched Orson Well’s classic film, “Citizen Kane; big to do about the mystery of the word “Rosebud”, he utters at the end.

And it occurred to me, that you classical music “aficionados”, might enjoy exchanging ideas, choices, of what you consider to be the most “enduring enigmas”, in the world of classical music?

Inexplicable operatic plots(scenarios), why composers like Rossini and Sibelius, stopped composing, even though they lived many years following completion of their last work?

Why some composers initial work(s), such as Mascagni or Leoncavello, are indisputable masterpieces; and though they live for a number of years afterward, never compose anything that equals their initial succeses?

Why, what do you think the most reasonable explanation is, for why Schumann went insane, after composing so many great works?

Which composers, after many flops, finally creates a masterpiece?

Offenbach’s “The Tales of Hoffman”?
“asnaken–”: very interesting; especially the Dvorak: now there’s one, I’ve never heard of. Hope a later responder, might have done some research, and hopefully may be able to enlighten us.

Alberich
“Edik”: as far as I know, it was a genuine riot; could be wrong. Why don’t you check this out on Wikipedia, or “google” it?

Thanks for your response.

What are some really good classical music pieces?

Beethoven or Mozart? I’ve recently gotten into classical music and I enjoy these two. I also like Percy Granger. I find this type of music helps me to study…

Also, I love piano and think Chopin is excellent. Any recommendations on good piano pieces?
